Cairo Flour Quality Requirement Conference
Mühlenchemie, one of the world’s leading flour improvement and fortification companies, co-hosted the second edition of its conference with Brabender GmbH & Co KG, a Duisburg-based manufacturer of laboratory equipment, in Cairo recently. The two German companies have been cooperating since 2016. The theme of the conference was flour quality requirements between present and future.
About 200 representatives of the Egyptian milling and flour processing industry gathered at the event to acquire information about the latest findings and possibilities of enhancing quality in the flour industry. Egypt is the world’s biggest importer of wheat, and an important market for Mühlenchemie, which exports its products to over 120 countries and maintains a close relationship with more than 1,500 mills around the globe.
