Koenig opens office in Italy

Koenig has opened a new subsidiary in Verona called Koenig Technology Projektmanagement. The team at this office includes eight employees led by Nicola Perbellini, who has 25 years of experience in the baking industry. In close collaboration with other Koenig divisions, Koenig Technology Projektmanagement handles inquiries and bakery plant planning.

“We perceive an increased customer demand for turnkey solutions in the baking industry,” said Wolfgang Staufer, chief executive officer of Koenig. To this end, Koenig has expanded its product portfolio, adding a series of modular tunnel ovens available in single-deck indirect- and direct-fired or multi-deck indirect-fired formats. These additional products along with the new Italian offices are part of Koenig’s goal to better supply customer large-scale, turnkey solutions for its clients.
