New Lesaffre Yeast blending facility in Iowa

The Lesaffre Yeast Corp. broke ground on a new blending facility in Cedar Rapids in the US on 2 May. The facility will be located on five acres and will include a large production and blending area, offices and warehouse. Lesaffre said it will make enzyme blends, concentrates and dough improvers under the Saf-Pro ingredients brand at the facility. The products will be supported by the company’s existing Baking Center located in Milwaukee.
