AGT Foods Africa is part of AGT Food and Ingredients Inc., a global supplier of pulses, grains, staple foods and value-added food ingredients.

 

 

Our South African operation sources, processes, packs and supplies an extensive range of food products and ingredients directly to food manufacturers, industrial bakeries, hospitality and food-service businesses, wholesalers, distributors and other commercial customers. We supply industrial and commercial customers in bulk, with product formats suited to manufacturing, bakery, hospitality and food-service applications.

Our local divisions include Retail, Hospitality, Spices, Ingredients, Popcorn, Bakery and Protein.

Our Pantry Essentials portfolio includes pulses, grains, rice, bakery seeds, specialty flours, proteins, spices, herbs, blends and selected superfoods. The range includes sesame, sunflower, linseed, pumpkin and chia seeds; oats, rye, quinoa, pearl barley, sorghum and teff; and specialty flours produced from chickpeas, lentils, peas, rice, oats, buckwheat and teff.

AGT Foods Africa also supplies functional plant-based ingredients, including pulse proteins, fibres and starches for food formulation and product development. These provide solutions for protein fortification, binding, texturising and plant-based applications.

Our retail capability includes AGT-owned products as well as contract-packed and private-label products produced for distribution through major supermarket groups.
