Zeelandia SA began by importing bakery ingredients from its factory in the Netherlands, in 2013. The products had such an enthusiastic reception by the market, that within a year the management decided to open a local production plant and offices.

Today, Zeelandia SA provides a wide range of bakery ingredients and decorating supplies to bakeries across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. Their range, which includes coatings, speciality oils, fruit fillings and sponge-cake mixes, can also be supplied as certified halal or kosher.
