On 21 and 22 May, the best confectioners from five countries competed for the gold medal at The iba UIBC Cup of Confectioners. 

The gold medal of The iba UIBC Cup of Confectioners goes to goes to In Seok Kim and Kyung Joo Jang from Korea.

And the winners of The iba UIBC Cup of Bakers are: Corentin Molina and Yannis Thouys from France. Teams from six countries competed for the gold medal over the course of two days in Hall 14. 

On the evening of the 7 May 2025, a group gathered at Definitive Conferencing, a beautiful venue in Edenvale, to celebrate the graduation of the students who studied the SAAFFI-Wits Course in Flavour & Fragrance Technology during 2024.
