Clover S.A. Pty Ltd, has been operating in one form or another since 1898 and is a leading and competitive branded consumer goods and products group that was established in South Africa, but has expanded their distribution to other selected African countries.
Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd was formed in 2001 but has been in existence in one form or another for the past 140 years. The group collects 22 billion litres of milk each year to produce more than 2 million tonnes of dairy ingredients. Fonterra is the world’s largest dairy exporter supplying dairy products & ingredients to 140 countries across the globe.
In 2005 Clover S.A Pty Ltd and Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited, combined forces in a joint venture establishing Clover Fonterra Ingredients (CFI).
More than 10 successful years later, Clover Fonterra Ingredients markets and supplies bulk dairy ingredients and food-service products through-out South Africa and Sub-Saharan region. CFI delivers to our customers a broad range of products with greater security of supply and an enhanced product development capability, local and international. The integration of manufacturing and supply chain processes of both Fonterra and Clover are a key strength and gives flexibility of products to our customers.
