We live in an unprecedented time and we need to stand together against this global Covid-19 Coronavirus that has changed and destroyed thousands of lives around the world.
Since the President declared a national lockdown from 26 March 2020, we have made significant progress towards containing the spread of the coronavirus. South Africans have come together and have shown remarkable compassion, patience and unity.
The journey has however only started. In order for us to succeed in containing the spread of the virus and to protect lives in our country, South Africans will need to comply with these restrictions that have been put in place for the safety of all.
The government has begun to roll out a national campaign to encourage continued actions in unity to fight the coronavirus. The campaign encourages people to “Stay Home, Save South Africa”.
We at South Bakels support this campaign, so join us in displaying the official campaign symbol in your stores and offices, to distribute it to your members, colleagues and employees, and to feature it in any advertising or additional campaigns that you create in the weeks and months to come. We are all in this together!
