Ishida Unveils Brand New Snack Packing Systems

 

Ishida Europe will underline its market-leading capabilities in snacks packing solutions with the introduction of two brand new packing systems at this year’s Snackex. Details are still under wraps but the new integrated weighing and bagging machines will continue Ishida’s established reputation for enabling snack manufacturers to maximise the speed of their packing operations while achieving close to zero giveaway, maximum efficiency levels and the highest quality pack presentation.

The new solutions will utilise Ishida established Ishida’s iTPS™ (Integrated Total Packaging System), the world’s only complete snack food packing system with all weighing and bagmaking elements from one supplier. Top speeds will be in the region of 150 ppm for potato chips and 200ppm for extruded snacks.

 

 

Ishida’s ‘Hungry Monster’

The success of the preferred supplier partnership between Ishida Europe and Tulip, one of the UK’s leading food processing companies, is ideally demonstrated by the latest installation of Ishida equipment at Tulip’s factory in Ruskington, Lincolnshire, where a bespoke line is handling 2.7 tonnes of frozen cocktail sausages every hour. With each cocktail sausage weighing approximately 10g, this equates to an impressive 270,000 sausages per hour.
